Who says heaven is not on the earth? Heaven on the earth is in our beloved country, yes! In India!”Himachal Pradhesh”. This Himachal Pradhesh is also known as “Dev Bhoomi”.

Who wouldn’t want to wake up in the morning infront of the Himalyan ranges, under the fresh spell of snow in season? Who wouldn’t want to see the mesmerizing sun rising from the two huge valleys? Who wouldn’t want to spend their time in the calm and spacious environment?

Situated in the North East, Himachal is popular for the abundant beauty God has gifted to this place. This beauty attracts the tourists from all over the world.

Here we go through it. Himachal has this spellbinding beauty. This land is also called as Dev Bhoomi because it has more than 2,000 temples in the land itself! So,the combo pack of beauty, religions and cuture moves your heart to visit this iconic beauty in ” The Incredible India”.

There are many places to visit in Himachal. Below, I am listing the most frequent places of tourists hot spots, where you will definitely experience the pleasing beauty, the mossy meadows, the fast flowing streams of river, never before seen beautiful flowers and overall sceneric spots, that make this the paradise on earth.

The sublime beauty of Rohtang Pass – i.e. the high mountain source on eastern pill Ranjan range of Himalaya, at the altitude of 13,051 ft. It is 51 kms away from Manali and makes you feel that the person is on the top peak (Mount Everest) of the world. This pass connects the Kullu valley with Lahual and spiti valleys. Anybody who is looking to visit this paradise, the perfect time is between May to November. You will be surely be exhausted by the ethnic beauty.

The next destination to be visited in Himachal is “Chamba”. God has gifted another captivating beauty to this small ancient town. It is one of the best tourist spots in Himachal Pradhesh, attracting many people from all over the world. The town is about a 50kms journey from Dalhousie. It is not only gifted with unparallel landscapes but also some of the temples and palaces.

The temperature at Chamba in summer is normal while in winter it is recorded in negative celsius. Also this small town is famous for the miniature “Pahari Painting”, Traditional Handicrafts and musical instruments. One of the finest places to visit during the vacations!

A visit to the “Kangra Valley” is a must in the Himachal tour. It is one of the most visited places in tourism in the season of March and April. It is known to attract the adventure sports and nature lovers. A view of the highest peak on the “Dhauladhar range” (White Mountain) will surely make your day! Kangra is also famous for its ancient temples.

How can one forget to visit the capital city of Himachal Pradhesh when you are visiting the state – Shimla. The name itsef describes the history of it being a favourite destination, right from Bollywood to the people in South. The city has evergreen beauty and is recognized for the academic institutions names. One can also make thier study destinations in the valleys.

 

The numerous old British architectural buildings, having various festivals, snowfall in Shimla makes it enchanting when you enter the place. It is the most favoured destination from the British period of time. Rather than describing in one word, one must visit this ethnic beauty. You will experience that it is beyond words!

A walk through Kullu is one of the finest and greatest valleys in the Himalayas. Kullu Valleys are spread over the Beas River at 1,220 m or 4,000 ft. It is famous for the hills covered with pine and Deodhar trees.  Here, the climate is very pleasant in October and November. Kullu has the perfect combo pack of the palaces, scenic beauty spots, religious temples and festivals of the different cultures. One thing that is very popular in Kullu is the Handloom Shawls, where the woolen clothes have indeed great quality! If you are lucky enough you may even witness snowfall in the winter.

From Kullu, at a very short distance, there is Manali. Manali is a part of the Kullu district, nestled in the mountains. Snow capped peaks, a very favoured spot by trekkers. People enjoy River Rafting, Trekking and many more adventurous sports here. Kullu Manali is the favourite spot of tourists from all over the world. Even from actors to simple man, everybody switches to Manali for a vacation whenever they get time. It is featured in many movies and you can also enjoy the shooting of movies Recently it was Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani, and many more before.

Dalhousie is built on the five hills. The name Dalhousie was given after the British governor Lord Dalhousie, who established this as a summer destination. Dalhousie is situated between 6,000 and 9,000 feet. It is again adept by the elegant beauty in the Himalayan ranges. Here also, we get to witness the treat of British sculptures established over years. Churches, palaces and temples too. Dallhousie can be visited in summer and winter. A mesmerising experience you will gain, after a simple walk through this place.

I.   When you are visiting these hill stations, one must take care of the cold weather. Carry woolen clothes, your medicines etc
