Well!  this  dish  may  relief all those  who  depend completely on hostel’s  mess  and its products!

Vegans this recipe would be helpful for you in case you are bored with the same old mess food!

Sitting  in mess  I was after my mind  which was  in search  of  some exotic  recipe  which can be prepared  in  no time  and  at  the  same  time  renders  satisfaction  of  being  loaded  with something  good and healthy.

Struggling  for  few  minutes  my mind came up with  a recipe  which was really easy  to cook and far more easier  to digest.

Here  goes  the  recipe-

INGREDIENTS:

1)      5 White-bread slices.

2)    2 tablespoons of  cooking oil

3)    1 onion

4)    Curry leaves

5)    Mustard seeds

6)    Cumin

7)    Green chilly

8)    Salt according to taste

9)    Boiled potato – 1

10)  Coriander

11)   Tomato and chilly ketchup

METHOD:

Chop onion and green chilies. Mash boiled potato. In a frying pan, take 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add cumin with mustard seeds when warmed.

Add chopped chilly and onion to it and fry until onion turn golden brown.

Add  mashed  potato  along with  curry  leaves  and continue frying.

Now, take the bread slice, dip it into water for 1-2 sec and take it out.

Crumble it into pieces and add it into the frying pan, mix it properly and cook along with onion for 2 min.

Add salt according to taste and a pinch of turmeric powder.

After it turns light brown, add tomato and chilly ketchup  according  to your taste.

Stir and saute for 1 min and transfer the contents in a dish.

Garnish with coriander.

And wipe  off  water  coming  outta  your mouth!!!

Serve Hot.
