Who are the ones who master this art of preparing food? Not every person can be a master at this art. It is a field of study in its own way. But there have been people who have etched their names on the world’s food map for sure.They are the masterchefs. Read on to know them!

Sanjeev Kapoor

Turn to the sub-continent and then see who doesn’t know this man. Sanjeev kapoor is an Indian chef who has been mastering the kitchen since last 20 years. He has been the key source of inspiration for the aspiring chefs in the Indian subcontinent. He had his own television show named as the Khana Khazana which was a big hit during its airing days. In addition to this, he has also featured as the chief judge in the television reality show Masterchef India.

Marco Pierre White

This British chef is known for being the youngest to win 3 Michelin stars. Michelin stars is an accolade which is given to the best in this field. He is known for his continental cuisine and his improvisations. This man has the ability to tickle all your taste buds and to take you for a delicious ride for sure. He rightly deserves to be a part of the top 15 chefs in the world!

Emeril Lagasse

This chef who has his mixed origins of Portuguese and French nationalities is known for his earning which is over $150 million every year. He is known for the various restaurants that he has set up ever since early 1990s when he started with a hotel which was awarded as the best restaurant of the year. In addition to this, he is also a writer who writes immaculately with care.

Anthony Bourdain

This American gentleman started his career as a dishwasher in a small restaurant in the United States about 20 years ago. Then he started following his cooking desires and today has his name among the top 15 chefs of the world. He is known for his diversified cooking. He believes in cooking with all types of food. There is not a single edible thing with which this man would not like to cook. He penned down a book titled as “Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly” in the year 2000, which was a big smash hit during the time of its publication. He has also hosted a television show named as “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservation”. In addition to this, he writes a lot of food blogs and has been awarded for the same on a fairly regular basis!

Mario Batali

Here comes someone from the land of pizzas. Mario started working at Pizzeria before going on to serve some of the most renowned kitchens of the world; Waterside Inn, La Tour d’Argent, Moulin de Mougins etc. are just a few names to mention. Later on he decided to start his own Italian restaurant in New Jersey where he serves some impeccable Italian dishes.

Paul Bocuse

This French man is known as the father of the culinary world in the magical royal land of France. He is known for his practice in nouvelle cuisine which is a different genre of cuisine altogether. Cooking in his way is simply no easy nut to crack. In 1961, Paul Bocuse was awarded the honorary title of Meilleur Oliver de France and a host of other awards which included the medal of Commandeur de la Legion d’honneur. He was also honored by the Leadership Award in 2011 by the Culinary Institute of America and was given the “Chef of the Century” award.

Alain Ducasse

This French chef first tried his hands at cooking at the age of 16, an age when most of the people do not even think what they are going to do in their life. But Ducasse had this dedication and love towards the art of food making from a very young age. He is known for his representation in the classic French cuisine. He is considered as one of the pioneers in the food making world!

Gordon James Ramsay

Ramsay is often termed as the most celebrated chef of all times, largely due to the varieties and innovations he comes up with in the food industry. He has been a part of various television shows like “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmare” and “MasterChef USA”. Ramsay had a craving to play soccer for his country, the United Kingdom, but could not pursue a footballing career due to injuries. Thus he decided to turn up the kitchen instead and has been an active chef since then. He started his own restaurant named as Restaurant Gordon Ramsay when he was in his early thirties. Moreover, Ramsay is the only chef from the United Kingdom who has received 10 Michelin stars!
