A literary Gadget Kindle Paperwhite

A sleek and smart, 21st century gadget meant only for reading books. Yes that is what the Kindle Whitepaper is all about. An e-reader from the house of Amazon, Kindle Paperwhite has revolutionized the way books are to be read.

What sets this particular gadget from its cousins (iPad being one) is the fact it reads exactly like a book: with no glare, even in the bright sunlight.  It uses e-ink for this purpose. The books can be downloaded directly into this e-reader from Amazon.com, thanks to the inbuilt wi-fi. The amazon.com provides those books for free download which have been published atleast 100 years back. For other books you need to pay.  There arehundreds of thousands of Kindle-exclusive titles that you won’t find anywhere else. In short, it has a lot to offer when it comes to the reading list.

With an in-built dictionary you can always check out the meaning of a difficult word, right away. The X-Ray option enables you to get back to any episode in the earlier part of the book as and when you loose track of the plot!

The battery promises a life of 8 weeks which at first might sounds too good to be true but users are experiencing what they were promised!

With great resolution and high contrast, it has won the heart of those skeptical about e-readers. Even those who hate to read e-books are in love with this new version of digital reading.

But it doesn’t read a pdf-file. Those acquainted with pdf formats won’t get that opportunity in this platform.

In a nutshell its like a huge library with a capacity of 1100 books that you can carry in your pocket. Its short a sleek and reads exactly like a real book!

On the whole its very good but comes with a good price. In India it will cost you Rs. 10,999 which is a bit expensive for an e-reader. But users say that the investment is worth it!
