Another Summer

He always hid in her hair
On days when she would
Deepen in some other’s arms.
On days,
when the sky looked
As if it wanted to give up
All its rains
In a single gust of unrest.
The light outside never falters
Till it goes out altogether,
Making way for a million bursts.

On other days,
Her strands would sketch playfully
On his face.
Light and forgetful;
All that the wind whispered.
A brush stroke here,
And a smile there.
While on the wall
It would start to fade;
Truths and shadows alike.

I am as normal as they come. Anything worth mentioning, cannot be mentioned succinctly.
