‘D’ for Development

Every Start-up is a leap of faith, taken upwards towards development. Every failure is a stepping stone towards success and milestone for development. Whenever we get mesmerized by the impressiveness of established institutions and practices, and novelty in each of their work, we are bound to think of the way one does it, hopes, toils, masters, charms the art of Entrepreneurship. Change the sequence of these words, the meaning of entrepreneurship would be artificial. Relating the word Growth with development would be bluffing. So how is it done actually? Where do you start? How do you make it happen? Well, the answer is no brainer. You don’t need a MBA degree to start your own venture. All you need is passion driven motive and endless desire to make it happen. Behind every venture there are stages of unhappy days, discontented ambitions and an aimless path to self-discovery.

I recently applied to the internship opening at The Blue Planet Software Services. Talking about their company, Mr Vipul Joshi mentioned that it was started in October 2013. At this specific moment of our conversation I couldn’t help but react, “It really is quite a new venture!” He sportingly replied, “Yes, it is”. Mr. Vipul Joshi is an engineer and a holds an MSc in sciences. This company just has 6 employees as of now, and is expanding on a daily basis. Blue Planet deals with management at director levels at organizations developing a wide range of software and service products, remove impediments and deliver sustainably.

The main asset this venture deals with is Agile Software development. Agile software development is a field of design Architecture, and gets much more complex than just that. The Company goes on advancing its technicalities and goes out to give the right custom software solutions for their clients in the fields of IT, mobile applications and telecommunication based needs. The apt usage of cutting edge thinking and inclusion of techniques like specification by examples, results in satisfaction of customers and great experiences along with simplicity. Another thing to look up to is their approach for the employees of regular demos and ensures feedback sessions from customers, to deliver right software with great quality.

What is all this stuff?

Agile development is a term that was derived from the Agile Manifesto, which was written in 2001 by a group that included the creators of Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), and Crystal; a representative of feature-driven development; and several other thought leaders in the software industry. The Agile Manifesto established a common set of overarching values and principles for all of the individual agile methodologies at the time. The manifesto details four core values for enabling high-performing teams.

Individuals and their interactions

Delivering working software

Customer collaboration

Responding to change

These core values are supported by 12 principles. These values are not just something the creators of the Agile Manifesto intended to give lip service to and then forget. They are working values. Each individual agile methodology approaches these values in a slightly different way, but all of these methodologies have specific processes and practices that foster one or more of these values.

Their understanding of open source tools and frameworks ensure a cost effective and industry proven agile infrastructure solution for our customers. They can also work with your teams to review your agile maturity, provide direct coaching and consultants who can help you achieve the optimal implementation. Since, consultants are active participants in the Agile community and are known as thought leaders that publish and present worldwide.

Why Agile?

Agile methods promise to help you create software that delivers far more business value—and do it faster, at lower cost, and with less pain. Agile companies experience accelerated time-to-market, increased productivity and quality, reduced risk and project costs, and improved project visibility. However, many organizations struggle with implementation and leveraging these methods to their full benefit. Whether you’re planning on keeping the ball in your court, your first agile project or trying to improve your next project their services will help you get started.

What is Agile?

Agile Software is Agile software development is a group of software development methods based on iterative and incremental development. Iterative design is a design methodology based on a cyclic process of prototyping, testing, analyzing, and refining a product or process. This process is intended to ultimately improve the quality and functionality of a design, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams. It promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery, a time-boxed iterative approach, and encourages rapid and flexible response to change. It is a conceptual framework that promotes foreseen tight interactions throughout the development cycle. So, this is what Wikipedia says. However, if you actually want you know what is about, you could, might as well give a call to Blueplanet Software Systems!

For a venture, to be registered as success, the tools are passion and undying desire for ambition. Just the way, sculptor to needs to sculpt the sculptures, no matter how tiring or plausible his work is, on completion, it is everybody’s masterpiece!
