A Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) is a type of passenger vehicle which combines the load carrying and passenger carrying capacity of a large wagon or a minivan with features designed for off-road driving. They have been in trend for the past 10 years, but lately their demand has seen a steep rise. For a nation obsessed with utility vehicles, it’s no surprise that SUV has emerged as the new hot segment and with a lot of automakers bringing the best in class new SUVs in India, people’s hunger for SUVs keeps growing.

So here are some of the best SUVs in the Indian market currently: 

 

Renault Duster

Renault Duster is a car that borders between an overgrown hatch and a full blown SUV. The front of the car has double barrel headlamps with a large chrome grille. The sides are prominent and muscular with wheel arches having 16-inch alloy wheels. The tail lamp is simple yet elegant and is complemented by bulging surrounds on the boot. The inside of the car offers plenty of room for four or five.

Toyota Fortuner

Toyota Fortuner is a powerful car having muscular body and sporty looks. The new Fortuner looks very similar to Land cruiser. On the rear, the SUV has a new Land Cruiser like bar of chrome across the tail gate. Inside, Toyota has done a thorough job to improve the quality of the interiors.
