Enduro bikes- A rugged adventure
One of my favourite authors of all time, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle whose creation Sherlock Holmes is a legend in itself quoted, “When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bike and go out without thought on anything but the ride you are taking…”
Joys of going on adventurous trips and doing stuff like Bungee jumping, sky diving and scuba diving creates an adrenaline rush inside but these happen not on daily routines but only during trips. What everyone looks around as a fun activity nowadays are the fascination towards cars and bikes. An adventure sport that is very popular among riders is Enduro.
Enduro is a motorcycle sport where you don’t get tracks like Formula one but obstacles and challenges which are off-road, that is on hills or rugged roads. World Enduro Championships are one of the main sporting events of this sport and mark my words, it is one of the most spectacular and high-octane sporting event. What is more fascinating about the sport is the Enduro bikes that make the sport worth the money.
Enduro bikes aren’t like your normal bikes but are specially designed for the event. Oversized gas-tanks, specially built engines, sump protectors and highly endurable body are what Enduro bikes consist of. Their built up is such that they are easily tuned for reliability and longevity. The performance of the Enduro bikes are the best when one is going off-road. And on-road they are quiet fast just like Ducati. The Enduro bikes are mostly small and lighter so that it is easy to make way on hills and to be able to pass through various obstacles.
The main manufacturers of these bikes are Kawasaki, Hyundai, Honda and Suzuki plus other companies too, who think that these bikes are one of the best adrenaline rush providers around. Enduro bike stunts might seem difficult to perform and of course they are, but to go around some terrain where it is impossible for any vehicle to go, Enduro bikes provide you the advantage of riding on it and move around. It is difficult and sometimes dangerous too but the thrills that these bikes provide are what makes them one of the kind.
So if you want to have some adventure literally on a bike then try out Enduro bikes…just be careful not to overdo it or else holidays would just be about rolling on the hospital bed with a plaster on your leg.
